Meet- DJ PJ
Musician, Leader, Child of God.
My name is Patrick Walker, Jr. Born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Alumnus of St. Augustine High School (‘15), Former Marching 100 Drum Major. I am a member of Alpha Phi Alpa Fraternity, Inc., holding a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Southern University of New Orleans.
Back in 2000, at the age of 4, music became my passion. I picked up a pair of spoons, banging on pots and pans in the kitchen. My parents saw my God given gifts, and sewed into my talents. I was blessed to grow up in church playing drums, giving me the foundation to hear music intricately and carry the beat.
In Middle School, I expressed my interest in deejaying. Christmas 2008, I opened my first pair of turntables. I haven’t turned back since.
Now, I am grateful to be the source of entertainment for any concert, event, or celebration.
From the Oldies and Goodies, to the 99s/2000s, 10s and 20s.
Over the last decade, I have created my own formula for keeping people moving. Here’s the secret.
When I serve my mix….
The Beat is the main ingredient.
